March 2013:
Mixer has been diagnosed with colon cancer which has metastasized to her liver. There is no treatment. She is at home and is being cared for by a number of friends who are with her 24x7, supported by a hospice program. Prayers are welcome and encouraged.

We have set up an online fundraiser to help defray expenses related to Claire's care. Donations in any amount are welcome and very much appreciated.
